A Little Gift

My niece Maddy is now 3 months old!!! Can you believe it?

She is the light of my life!!!!



Maddy's Mamma is having a birthday today. Happy Birthday Becky!!!!

I took the above picture on Saturday night when I was babysitting so that Mamma and Daddy could go to a friend's wedding.

I printed the picture out in black and white and put it in a pretty frame for Becky.

I also made this little pretty for her.



I added a few little rhinestones that I hope you can see here. Becky loves anything with sparkle.

Rescue Pets

You guys know that we try to adopt and help rescue animals whenever possible.

I also have good friends that do the same.

My friend Lori works with Little Orphan Animals and foster cats and kittens until they can be adopted. On Halloween we were fortunate enough to adopt one of her little kittens.



This is little Maya, she's 10 weeks old and the sweetest little thing! We just love her!!!

Another friend of mine, Lisa, owns a shop nearby called Urban Tails. She takes rescue dogs and cats from all over the country and adopts them out.

My little Josie volunteers at the shop several afternoons a week.



This little sweetheart is a rescue that was just born last Friday. Once she is old enough, she will come home and join our family.

Lexi Lu should be home with us by Christmas!

Last, but certainly not least, in September we adopted this sweet little guy (the little Sheltie next to Abby)from Urban Tails.

Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, he passed away from a blocked intestine. It was heartbreaking and happened so quickly.

Princess Kaitlyn

So... while I was away, we welcomed another baby girl into our family. My dear cousin, Jamie welcomed her first baby, Kaitlyn on October 15th.



She's so precious!

You all know that I am all about making something beautiful out of next to nothing. I am also obsessed with creating inexpensive gifts for family and friends.

I created this sign for Kaitlyn's nursery.



It started out as a 24" x 6" piece of mdf. I spray painted it Sweet Pea pink. Used my handy dandy Cricut, some cute black scrapbook paper with sweet white polka dots, cut out the words and the cute little crown. I Mod Podged these pieces on where I wanted them. With a few more coats of Mod Podge, some rhinestones to finish off the crown and some black ribbon it was complete!

Making a Comeback!!!

Hey there!!! How have you all been????

I want to apologize for not being around for the past month and a half or so. The Prince and I have been going through some personal stuff since August and have been working very hard to get through it. With all of that, I haven't had the time or the energy for much else.

To all of you who have stuck around waiting for my next post... THANK YOU!!!!!! It means the world to me!!!

To those of you that I have lost while I've been gone... I'll win you back, I promise!!!!

I hope everyone is having a great fall!!!! I've been checking in every so often and there is some real fabulousness going on out there!!!!
